The Parade will return to Oak Lawn’s LGBTQ block and bringing along the Purple Party, RAM Party, DJ Drew G at the Roundup, and more! We have tried our best to put together a list of the events surrounding the September version of Pride in the gayborhood.
This years Emcees for the Pride in Dallas 2023 Parade will be Cassie Nova, Chanel LaMasters, and Brandon Michael. Kirk Myers-Hill will be the Grand Marshall.

The people of Oak Lawn are now working collaboratively to preserve one of the last remaining historical LGBTQ+ cultural centers in the U.S. Pride in Dallas has committed to preserving the history that was created by those who fought before us to build the community we call the Dallas Gayborhood. The cause is so important that, as of this writing, staple businesses such as Caven Enterprises, The Round-Up Saloon, Dallas Woody’s, Cedar Springs Tap House and community organizations and members have raised more than $71,000 in the first campaign.
Pride in Dallas has a week of events planned beginning Sept. 12 and the Pride parade on Sept. 17, from 1-3 pm.
Here is a list of the events planned for September’s LGBTQ Pride:
Drag Brunch @ Tap House
11am to 1pm before the Parade Sunday at the Tap House located off Cedar Springs at the former Ilume building.
DJ Drew G at the Roundup Saloon
One of our favorite DJ’s is back in Big D to play at the Roundup Saloon on Sunday starting at 6pm to 2am after the parade off Cedar Springs and Oaklawn.
Purple Party’s Pride in Dallas Events
Purple Foundation proudly presents two of our signature events: Rise Pool Party and Spectrum Tea Dance for Pride in Dallas weekend.

Purple’s first pool venue at the Crowne Plaza Downtown. And, it is exactly how you remember it…only way better, nicely upgraded, and even more fabulous! The incredible views are the same. Returning to the Purple roster after a short break is the incredible DJ/Producer Guy Scheiman and he is ready to provide your sunset rooftop realness just the right musical vibe. Daddy Ersin Presents RAM Party – Pride Dallas Edition with a new venue experience. If you have been to PANOPTIKON it’s in the same venue loved by many in the dance community. Music By International DJ Dan De Leon. Opening set by DJ Vicky Kuba. Cellblock13la will be doing giveaways for party gear.
