Britney Spears Out for 4 Months - Onyx Hotel Tour Cancelled

June 15, 2004 - New York, NY - After last week's injury resulting from a fall on the set of her video shoot for "Outrageous" in Queens, NY, Britney Spears underwent arthroscopic knee surgery at a New York hospital. The surgery was necessary to repair severe damage caused to the singer's leg by the incident.

Ms. Spears will be immobile for 6 weeks, with her knee in a hard brace. This will be followed by a minimum of 8-12 weeks of rehabilitation.

The Onyx Hotel Tour which was scheduled to begin on June 22nd in Hartford, CT and end in Bakersfield, CA on August 15th is cancelled. Britney Spears hopes to revisit those cities in the future. For ticket information call Clear Channel Radio or your Britney Spears fanclub.

Madonna 2012 World tour was just announced:

Madonna World Tour 2012 Coming To Houston and Dallas

If you missed Madonna for her Sticky and Sweet Tour in 2009 you now have another chance to see the Queen of Pop. She will tour Houston on October 24, 2012 at the Toyota Center which is a much better venue than the Minute Maid she was at last time. She will also be in another Texas city that she has not appeared since the Blond Ambition Tour. Dallas, TX the city recently known from the A-list will get a chance to have a real life A-lister come to town October 27th. Tickets go on sale Feb. 27.

Madonna 2006 'Confessions' Tour

Billboard reported this week that Madonna is working on her next tour and it is now official.  Madonna has stated that her new tour will be held in the Summer of 2006 and it will be mostly Dance Music since the previous tour was older songs.  This will be a fun, hip concert tour that everyone will be excited about.  Dates should be announced for the Confessions tour soon. Stay tuned for more updates on Madonna. Madonna Presale tickets should be out soon and you can join her ICON club to get announcements before the general public.

If you miss these dates you may want to book tickets to the 2006 MTV VMA Awards in New York City on August 31, 2006. There is a rumor that Madonna could make an appearance and shock everyone on the MTV VMA Awards. You never know. Tickets are very expensive for the Radio City Music Hall but you might get lucky!
