I hate to bring this up at the risk of pissing some people off, but is it just me or do you get offended at the bachelorette parties at gay bars? The place that it seems to happen most often is at S4, and I find it very offensive. Most of these chicks have been to a gay bar maybe once in college with a gay friend, and they come in to sit down and watch drag and poke fun. It makes me feel like a caged animal at a zoo would, just being watched for some entertainment value. Well NEWSFLASH, I am a human!
I have seen people going to these parties from my friends list, and these are people that not only just sitting there to poke fun at the gay community, they do it at our expense and then vote against us. What do the gay bars do about it? They let them cut in line to get in the club faster than our own, then they give them premium seating right in front. WTF? More people should be outraged over this!
I see others in the community that are very nice to them, and while that is great, I can’t help but just tell them to get lost. I posted about this on Facebook, and here is what someone said and they summed it up very nicely. “OOOHHHHHMYGAAAAAWWWWWWDTON
That is exactly what it is like too, just like my friend said. Why as a community do we find this acceptable and allow it to happen?
